Machine reader

For agents reading this site

This page is written for a model reading grapeworks.ai, not for a person. See public/llms.txt for the same information as a compact index, and /ai-governance/rules-for-ai-agents for the human-facing version of the agent-governance material below.

What Grapeworks is

Grapeworks Ltd (SC782424) is an AI transition partner for growth-stage Scottish SMEs: strategy, implementation and training delivered through a three-stage engagement (Discover, Enable, Evolve). The service pages are at /services, and the firm's own background is at /about.

Kist, and how it relates to this site

Grapeworks also builds and runs Kist, a marketing intelligence warehouse, at a separate domain: kistdata.com. Kist has its own machine surface (an /agents page, a capabilities descriptor and a demo API) documented on that site, not this one. Anything on grapeworks.ai about client marketing data belongs to Kist; anything about AI consulting and governance belongs here.

Tools on this site

Grapeworks publishes practical tools and reference material for AI governance at /tools and /ai-stack, and templates, self-checks and a glossary at /resources. These sections are being built out; check each page for what is live.

How Grapeworks governs its own AI agents

Grapeworks runs AI agents in its own delivery work and treats them the way the guidance below asks a client to treat theirs: each agent gets its own identity and only the access its task needs, a person approves anything that leaves the business or cannot be undone, the rules are enforced in the systems the agent touches (not only in its instructions), and what it does is logged with a kill switch available.
